Tank raised. Hypancistrus zebra or Imperial Zebra Pleco L46 is a peaceful drawf species of pleco. The diet of the zebra pleco is more of a carnivore's rather than an algae eaters. Thriving in temperatures of 26.0-30.0°C or 78.8-86°F, a PH range of 6.0 - 7.5 although adapeted to our ph of 7.9 in tap waters. These plecos enjoy a rocky bottom environment with fast moving water. The maximum size of a L46 Zebra pleco is 4" and a lifespan of approximatly 10-15 years in captivity.
